The Illuminating Engineering Society (The Lighting Society) of Australia and New Zealand is a proud partner of the Sustainable Homes program. The IES is actively promoting the Sustainable Homes program through its Queensland Chapter membership.
The aim of the IES is to promote the art and science of illumination (lighting) and the dissemination of knowledge to all interested parties. It is providing specialist technical advice as part of the design review process for each of the display homes, especially on passive design, energy-efficient lighting and natural daylighting in the homes.
